GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION

Housing - Overnight Campers: Overnight campers will be housed in the air-conditioned residence halls. Camp coaches will reside in each floor for supervision. Only 2 campers are allowed per room. There will be a $30 charge for any lost room keys. Dormitory space may be limited. Please apply early to ensure housing availability.

Meals: Meals will be provided by our university food service in an air-conditioned dining hall. Pizza parties will be featured at every camp except for Team Camp. Overnight campers will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Commuter campers (Individual Camp / Volleyball Academy) will be served lunch and dinner only. Team camp commuter fees do not include meals.

Camp Gear: All campers should bring appropriate training gear (shoes, shorts, socks, kneepads, extra t-shirts, water bottle, etc.). Overnight campers are expected to bring their own towels, linens, pillows, blankets or sleeping bags as well as toilet articles and other articles of clothing as desired. Extra spending money for snacks, camp store items, etc. may be helpful.

Insurance: All campers must carry their own insurance. While the staff will make every effort to prevent injuries and accidents, Bluejay Volleyball Camps and Creighton University will not be responsible for injuries sustained during camp. There will be a fully equipped training room with an athletic trainer at every session. The parental consent form must be completed for participation in a Bluejay Volleyball Camp.

Confirmation Letter with Camp Check-In Information: Each camper will be sent a confirmation letter via e-mail after the completed camp application, parental consent form, and payment is received. A parent e-mail address is preferred. This letter will contain all necessary camp check-in information, camp time format, and a campus map. If you do not have access to e-mail, please specify on application and a hard copy of the confirmation letter will be sent to your home address indicated in the camp application.

Cancellation Policies:
Individual I, Individual II, & Creighton Academy Camps: Up to 30 days prior to 12:00pm of your session's check-in day, you can withdraw for any reason and receive 100% refund of tuition after the deducted $60 non-refundable registration fee. 29-15 days prior to 12:00pm of your session's check-in day = 75% refund of tuition after the deducted $60 non-refundable registration fee. 14-7 days prior to 12:00pm of your session check-in day = 50% refund of tuition after the deducted $60 non-refundable registration fee. 6 days prior to 12:00pm of your session check-in day through check-out day, no refunds will be given. At any time, refunds due to injury/illness or certain emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis with written documentation of the nature of the injury/illness or emergency provided. We provide the services of camp expecting each enrollee to attend. If you must withdraw, please send an email to Angie Oxley Behrens for an appropriate written record of the request.

Little Jays I & II Camps: Up to 30 days prior to 12:00pm of your session’s check-in day, you can withdraw for any reason and receive 100% refund of tuition.  29-7 days prior to 12:00pm of your session check-in day = 75% refund of tuition after the deducted $30 non-refundable deposit.  6 days prior to 12:00pm of your session check-in day through check-out day, no refunds will be given. At any time, refunds due to injury/illness or certain emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis with written documentation of the nature of the injury/illness or emergency provided. We provide the services of camp expecting each enrollee to attend. If you must withdraw, please send an email to Angie Oxley Behrens for an appropriate written record of the request.
